Apple MB845Z/A Review: Apple Mac Pro RAID Card. Summary:I'm no great fan of this card, but it has its uses. *IF* you are doing video capture and editing, and must offload drive RAID functions from your main CPU, and you really want the drives mounted inside your Mac Pro, then you must get this card. (Note that this card is for 2009 and later Mac Pro. You need the older card for earlier machines.
